Usage: ADD TapeNumber [InputFile]
Usage: DELETE TapeNumber
Usage: DELETEVOL TapeNumber VolNumber
Usage: NEXTVOL TapeNumber
Usage: SEARCH [Path[TapeNumber [VolNumber]]
InputFile is optional in ADD mode (default is Std. Input Device)
The TapeNumber DELETE mode deletes all references to TapeNumber.
The NEXTVOL mode returns the next volume number for TapeNumber.
TAPELIB read output from COLORADO MEMORY SYSTEMS, INC.
TAPE SEARCH command and parses the output into a columnar
format, and updates 3 files: TAPELIB, TAPEVOLS and TAPEDIR
- TAPELIB contains one line for each tape
- TAPEVOLS contains one line for each tape volume
- TAPEDIR contains one line for each file in each volume
Previous versions of files are renamed to a .BAK extension.
A file named TAPEERR is appended with a report of any
uncorrectable errors on the tape. If tape has 0 uncorrectable errors
TAPEERR is not created or appended.
