BACKCOPY

(08-10-1991 11:14am BACKCOPY.EXE)
BACKCOPY usage is the same as DOS copy command.

BACKCOPY is designed to allow copying files in the background with a multitasking operating system (such as Microsoft Windows). When the DOS COPY command is used, it consumes system resources to the extent that all other processes nearly stop. Even the foreground process will typically be unusable while the copy is running. BACKCOPY gives up time slices so that other processes may continue normally while the copy is going on.
